Muay Thai is known as the art of eight limbs - fists, elbows, knees and shins. You'll learn to use all of them!
We run 13 Muay Thai classes a week across six days, so you can find a time that works. Morning classes start at 9:00 AM and evening classes run at 6:30 and 7:30 PM.
Come 15 minutes early so we can give you a tour and introduce you to the coach leading your class! Wear athletic clothes with no zippers or pockets, bring water, and leave your shoes at the edge of the mat. Gear rental is free for your trial class, so there is nothing you need to buy first.
Your first few weeks cover stance, footwork and the basic strikes. From there you'll work pads with a coach, then combinations, defense and clinch work. Sparring is always supervised and always your choice - you will never be pushed into it.
Stance, basic strikes, footwork and defense. Eight of our 13 weekly classes are at this level, so beginners always have a spot!

Muay Thai students need boxing gloves and shin guards, and a mouthguard is recommended for anyone who participates in sparring. Trial students can use loaner gear, and new members have a short period to determine which equipment they want to purchase.
Yes. Muay Thai combines punches, kicks, knees, elbows, footwork, defense, pad work, and conditioning. Training can improve cardio, power, coordination, and confidence while teaching practical striking skills.
Muay Thai traditionally uses punches, kicks, knees, elbows, and clinch work, which is why it is often called the Art of Eight Limbs. Kickboxing rules and training can vary by style, but often place less emphasis on elbows and extended clinch work. At Nashville MMA Training Camp, the Muay Thai program teaches a complete striking system with fundamentals through advanced training.
